So I was changing the blades on my lawn tractor and needed to know what blades I needed – also what type of oil. I have long forgot where I left that manual. So thank you the internet..
I typed the model number into google and one site that came up was ubermanuals.com and had a PDF to download of my mower.. Also had a way to embed it – see below!!

I rarely read something that makes me want to jump up and down and say “this is it!” but this one was like the Rosetta Stone to understanding what is going on with people . The article was written by Errol Morris and it talks about this effect that was titled ““Unskilled and Unaware of It: How Difficulties of Recognizing One’s Own Incompetence Lead to Inflated Self-assessments” or basically it takes a certain understanding of what you do not understand to understand you do not know what you are talking about.

I think it is a very much of a rebirth for me when I see REM live.. Stipe live is one of those special things that makes me think I am in the right place. The new CD is great but it is a shame they are not out there this summer. Here is a great video I just watched that kind of gives a glimpse of what the band is live..

Merlin Mann is a guy who just gets it.. When ever I hear him talk it is like a old sweatshirt that you just love to wear. I first heard him on TWIT many years ago and have visited his site 43 folders for many ideas on being more productive – he is a main evangelist of David Allen, time management guru. He also really gets the geek work life to a tee..
His latest presentation is on having better meetings and he gave this at tweeter. Here is the link..

BTW, here is an old presentation he gave at Google on being more organized in regards to email.. Fantastic!
